THE SUITCASE (or better, the bag)
The space on a sailboat is generally limited, even if in our case we have a comfortable and spacious catamaran. A soft sack is therefore preferable as it fits in the lockers easily; it is best to avoid trolleys or rigid suitcases. On board you will find a set of sheets and a feather quilt for every cabin.

Here is some advice for what you should put in your bag:

  • Shoes: Avoid high heels or leather soles. Gym shoes are more appropriate for a sailing vacation
  • A few t-shirts for protection from the sun and for the evenings
  • A hat and sunglasses
  • Naturally, a bathing suit
  • Suntan lotions with high solar protection
  • Towels or a bath robe
  • Waterproof coveralls or rain jacket in case of rain

... and:

  • Track suit
  • Cotton socks in summer or wool socks for the winter season
  • A polar fleece jumper or a sweater for the evening or for windy days
  • Un pile e un maglione per la sera o per le giornate pił ventose
  • Personal medicines
  • Jeans and a sports outfit are enough for the evenings spent on land, but if you don't wish to leave elegance behind, bring evening clothes: a romantic restaurant awaits you in every bay
  • A book
  • A flashlight
  • Your favourite CDs
  • If you wish to participate in the sailing, sailing gloves will be useful

The boat is equipped with 220 Watt electricity, so you can easily recharge batteries of cell phones, digital cameras, video cameras, electric shavers. Hairdryers, however, will be usable only in port.
