HOW TO CALCULATE A CATAMARAN HOLIDAY COST
First of all, we want dispel a myth: "holidays with boats are not reserved to VIP" and especially the sailing holidays have low cost, in fact compare to the motor-boats, the fuel consumption is inferior... and having regard to the cost of diesel fuel and the consumption of yacht this is not a thing of nothing...

HOW TO READ THE QUOTE
The quotes indicated on the price list shall indicate the rental of the whole catamaran for a week. Just need to be reduced of the percentage to the days of cruising and need to be divided by the number of participants in the holiday (from 6 to 8).

COMPULSORY EXTRA that must be added to tha quote (assuming 8 participants for a week end)
SKIPPER: the daily cost multiplied by the days of cruising must be divided by the number of participants in the holiday.
FINAL CLEANING: the cost must be divided by the number of participants in the holiday. (skipper excluded).
SHEETS: the cost is for each and every participant.
FUEL: according to consumption the cost must be divided by the number of participants (skipper excluded).
MOORING and costs of quay: except for the port of departure and arrival, the moorings must be paid and the cost should be divided by the number of participants in the holiday (skipper excluded).
FOOD and Beverage: the crew will decide what to buy and the cost will be divided by the number of participants in the holiday (skipper excluded)

To recap :
A two days weekend (from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon) for 8 people at Elba island in May would cost to each participant:

Boat: € 4,500 X 35% = € 1,575 \ 8 = €197
SKIPPER: € 150 X 2 = €300 \ 8 = € 38
Final cleaning: € 120 \ 8 = € 15
Bed linens: € 15

For a total of € 265 to add the galley, and fuel and moorings. If you do not expect champagne and caviar but " a good wine and tuscan excellent salami, according to our experience, €30 to head for a week-end will be more sufficient, than adding €15 for fuel and € 15 for the moorings.

In short on balance a cruise for two days with a catamaran, as or less than a wee-end in the hotel to the sea or mountain, less than in a agrituism or in any Cities of Art.
